Here are several calendar notes for the Nunn Community Group

Wednesday, November 26th
No meeting. Happy Thanksgiving!

Wednesday, December 10th
Christmas celebration with snacks and white elephant gift exchange!

Sunday, December 14th is Global Missions Night at Crossroads

Community groups are being asked to attend in lieu of as our weekly time together, meaning the Nunn Group will not meet on Wednesday, 12/17.

During Global Missions Night there be a time of corporate worship and then we will break into some mission’s electives where we will have the opportunity to learn more about Crossroads’ missions and missions around the world. There will be separate but related events for children and students at the church on this night as well. We will begin at 5:00 and end by 7:00.

Please put this important date on your own calendar and plan to sit together as a Community Group.

Wednesday, December 17th
No meeting.

Saturday, December 20th
Gift wrap from 3:00 to 5:00 at Ashley Park in Newnan. Location TBD.

Wednesday, December 24th
No meeting. Merry Christmas!

Wednesday, December 31st
Happy New Year! Please let Mae know if you have New Year’s Eve plans. We can cancel or celebrate together, whatever works best for the majority of the group


One housekeeping note, since Sandy and Dave will be engaged in a Financial Peace University class from the middle of December through mid-March, we will continue to meet at the Nunn home (140 Beech Valley Drive) indefinitely. Anyone is welcome to host a month of meetings if you’d like!

Lastly, thanks again to Gwen, Dorothy and Elaine for agreeing to coordinate the shopping for our Angle Tree family of children!

First meeting invitation

Good afternoon!

Michael and I completed our leadership training last week and will be ready to host our new community group at our home for the firsttime on Wednesday, November 5th. We will meet from 6:45 to 8:30 eachWednesday, and we will alternate hosting with Dave and Sandy Nash on amonthly basis. Anyone else interested in participating in the hostingrotation need only to speak up! We will be happy to work it out with you. Bring your appetite on the 5th as we will be serving chili dogs with allthe fixins. This will be a casual, getting-to-know-you evening. Ouraddress is 140 Beech Valley Drive, Sharpsburg, 30277. We are in the ShoalCreek Forest neighborhood (Oakcrest entrance across Hwy 34 from theNazarene Church).
